Are your stairs suitable?
A straight stairlift is the right answer when your staircase runs in one continuous flight with no turns or half-landings. Our engineers fit on whichever side of the stairs suits you best — the rail bolts to the stair treads, not your wall, so there's no plastering, no structural work and nothing visible from the wall side.
We cut the rail to the exact length of your stairs, so it doesn't matter if your staircase is longer, deeper or narrower than the "standard" — the fit is made for your home.

Why our straight stairlifts
The little things that make all the difference.
We've been fitting stairlifts in Greater Manchester for over 20 years. Here's what you get with every straight stairlift we install.
No building work, no mess
Our rail bolts directly to the stair treads — not your wall. Quick to fit, easy to remove, no damage to your home.
Slimline rail, full use of stairs
A narrow profile rail means everyone else can still walk up and down comfortably alongside the lift.
Fitted in 24–48 hours
Most straight stairlifts are surveyed and installed in two days. Need it sooner? Ask about same-day emergency fitting.
Swivel seat, folds away
Seat, arms and footrest fold flat when not in use, and a swivel locks at the top for safe, easy dismount.
Battery powered — works in a power cut
Rechargeable batteries keep your stairlift running even when the mains go down. No surprises.
12-month warranty as standard
Every new straight stairlift includes a full 12-month parts and labour warranty, plus 24-hour emergency callout.
Fixed price, no surprises
One straight answer on price.
You'll get a written quote at the home survey and the price you're quoted is the price you pay. No "from" prices, no add-ons, no surprises on the day.

Straight answers
Frequently asked questions
How much does a straight stairlift cost?
Our straight stairlift is a fixed £1,995 fitted, including the free home survey, installation, handover and a 12-month warranty. A reconditioned straight stairlift is £995 fitted.
How quickly can you install one?
Most straight stairlifts are fitted within 24–48 hours of your home survey. If you need it sooner, ask about same-day emergency fitting.
Will it damage my staircase?
No. The rail attaches to the stair treads, not your wall. When the lift is eventually removed, the holes are small and easily filled.
Do I have enough room on my stairs?
Almost certainly. Our slimline rail leaves plenty of room for others to use the stairs on foot. The engineer will confirm at the survey.
What if there's a power cut?
The stairlift runs on rechargeable batteries that charge from the mains, so it keeps working during a power cut.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — every new straight stairlift includes a 12-month parts and labour warranty plus a 24-hour emergency callout line covering Greater Manchester.
