Short answer: a properly reconditioned straight stairlift from us is £995 fitted — all-in. That includes the free home survey, a workshop-refurbished chair, new batteries, a rail cut to your exact staircase, full installation, handover and a 12-month parts-and-labour warranty.
Our fixed prices
| Type | Fitted price | Lead time |
|---|---|---|
| Straight stairlift | £1,995 | 24–48 hours |
| Reconditioned stairlift | £995 | 24–48 hours |
| Curved stairlift | £2,995 | 1–3 weeks (or 48 hours with our Emergency option) |
All prices include the free home survey, installation, handover and a 12-month warranty.
What's in the £995 price
- Workshop-refurbished chair (typically Acorn 130 or equivalent)
- New battery pack — fitted as standard, not "tested"
- Rail cut to fit your stairs (never a reused rail length)
- All wear parts replaced as needed — seat belt, sensors, key switch
- Free home survey, installation and handover
- 12-month parts and labour warranty
- VAT relief applied if the user has a long-term condition
What's not in it (and why ours is honest)
- No surprise survey fee
- No separate delivery charge
- No "first service" upsell within the warranty year
- No reused rail from someone else's house
Many headline online prices for reconditioned lifts are chair-only — typically £400–£600 — with the rail, install, batteries and warranty quoted separately. By the time those are added, the real total often passes the £995 mark.
Curved reconditioned lifts
Curved stairlifts are made to measure for an individual staircase, so a truly "reconditioned curved" unit is rare. When one becomes available that genuinely fits a customer's stairs, we'll quote it honestly — usually £1,800–£2,300 fitted depending on the run. Otherwise a new curved is £2,995 all-in, fitted in 1–3 weeks (or 48 hours with our Emergency option).
Lead time
24–48 hours from survey to fit in most cases, because the chair is already on the workshop floor and the rail is cut to your stairs on site.
